Testimonials

Being both a real estate agent and an investor, my husband and I have had the privilege of using Dan Rupiper to help us with many projects over the past few years and would not hesitate to recommend him to everyone. Not only does he do an excellent job, he gives you a written quote before he starts the job, he communicates very well, he coordinates the plumber, electrician, heating contractor, plasterer, etc. He does not waste time doing the job, and he helps with suggestions to keep costs under control and keep the work on schedule.

We have used him for various projects, both simple and complex, and have not been disappointed. The last project was a rehab on a house, which entailed tearing down paneling, frames, flooring, counters, bathroom fixtures, painting, etc. – a large project!

He is truly a hands-on professional who cares about doing a good job. We have put one of his signs in front of the home he finished for us and will continue to use him and refer him to anyone who may need help.

Dan Rupiper did a remodeling project for my home on Clark Lake in Jacksonport (Door County), WI. First of all, he converted the attached garage into a dual space by building a divider wall and using the original entry door and frame for access to a 6×15 space with a cedar closet (with sliding doors) on one end and space for the refrigerator, freezer and cleaning supplies. He removed the single-car garage door and house entry door, plus the back hallway entry wall and steel door that was the entrance from garage into house. Then he framed in a new exterior wall and installed a 3-panel (glass on either side of the door) entry door. He also installed 3 crank-out and 1 octagon window in the remodel spaces.

He insulated the rooms, put up sheetrock/blue board and got the room ready for plastering. Dan also removed the old siding from the house, put on a foil/styrofoam type of insulation, installed new fascia and then put on the siding.

Once the plastering was completed, Dan finished the room with oak trim and also lined another closet with cedar for me.

I was more than pleased with the job and really enjoy the new look Dan gave to my home.

Dan’s woodworking skills are superior. I’d like some cabinets built in the new room, but first I’m planning to have Dan put a new roof on the house in the spring of 2010 because of the hail damage I had last year.

Thanks a lot and best wishes.

Dan did such a great job on my office build-out that I have called him many times since then for home projects. From patio door installs to building a deck, I’ve always been happy with his work.

Brad Knapp, Homeowner

We first hired Dan to add an egress window to the basement of our home, which was built in 1938. We were so thrilled by his communication, professionalism, and attention to detail that we quickly realized we could trust him and expanded the project to include replacing all the basement windows and building a new deck.

When we moved to a different home a few years later, we again turned to Dan for home repairs and remodels. We hired him to install a patio door and prepare the siding (where an old deck had been removed) for an upcoming stone patio install. The landscapers who completed the patio went out of their way to note what an excellent job Dan had done.

Just this winter – on a bitingly cold day – Dan returned to replace all the trim around our garage doors.

We have been satisfied with all of Dan’s work and will definitely hire him again. We referred him to another homeowner, who was equally pleased with her experience.

Pride in Every Project

Heard the old joke about contractors saying “looks good from my house”? Yeah, we have too. And you can rest assured that’s not the attitude you’ll experience when you give us a call. We’re a small business that believes in building lasting relationships with clients, and we treat each home as if it were our own.
